OUR STORY
I’ve always loved flowers — their colours, their beauty, and the way they make you feel. Floristry always intrigued me, but in my earlier years I became a Registered Nurse.
My passion truly blossomed when I arranged the flowers for my own wedding, creating hand-tied bouquets that made the day deeply personal. That spark stayed with me, and years later life brought big changes.
Like many families, covid turned life upside down. We were forced to sell our house and Airbnb business in Tasmania after my husband lost his job, and we knew it was time for a new beginning. We searched for somewhere to settle that would be good for our kids — and having grown up in Queensland, it felt right to return. That’s how we found Maryborough, QLD.
From a small patch of land here, Five Mile Flowers began to grow. Using sustainable, organic practices, we’ve nurtured our little farm from the ground up, turning a personal passion into a family-run micro flower farm.
Today, every seed we plant, every bloom we gather, and every bouquet we design carries the same love and care I poured into my own wedding flowers. Our hope is that each stem we share brings warmth, colour, and joy into your day.

OUR FARM
Five Mile Flowers is a small-scale, family-run flower farm just outside Maryborough, QLD. We’re a micro flower farm, growing beautiful seasonal blooms using organic and natural principles.
At the heart of what we do is a deep respect for the land. We focus on building healthy soil and thriving microbiology, knowing that strong roots and balanced ecosystems create stronger, longer-lasting flowers. We grow with the seasons, working in step with nature’s rhythms and always leaving room for the bees, butterflies, and pollinators who make it all possible.
Every bouquet we create begins here — in healthy soil, under open skies, nurtured with care.
